Lorena Graham
Physiotherapist
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
ASCA Level 1 (Strength & Conditioning)
Lorena graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and is also an accredited Strength and Conditioning coach.
With this combination of skills and experience she takes a large interest in team sport athletes and helping them with their return to play planning as well as management post injury. She places a lot of emphasis on education around load management and exercise modification to keep athletes training around their injuries.
Having worked with rugby teams and completed mentoring with the Western Force Academy, Lorena has experience in managing contact sport injuries and the importance of returning to play at a high level.
Having gone through many injuries herself she understands first hand how training can help to improve outcomes and performances. She places a big emphasis on a prescription of exercise and strategies to help her clients, whether they are athletes or not, get back to the things they love in sport and life.
Lorena also has an interest in chronic pain and chronic illness. She has the ability to think outside the traditional realms of physio practice to incorporate strategies like breathing and movement with consideration of stress and mindset for a more holistic approach to pain management and injury.
Lorena has been around sport her whole life and currently enjoys weightlifting and her own strength training, indoor beach volleyball and dabbling in new forms of sport and movement.
Outside of the gym and work you’ll find Lorena at the beach, with her dog or discovering new creative outlets like pottery and painting.
